Grace Mahary

Founder & Executive Director

Grace is an Eritrean-Canadian international model, global activist, and certified sommelier. While visiting Eritrea, the amount of citizens living in the country without electricity moved and inspired her to make a change. Over the last six years, she has been researching renewable energy solutions, especially for countries lacking electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Drawing from her global network, Grace drafted a team who is now creating tangible clean energy solutions for communities around the world.

Chief of Operations/COO

Eden is a powerful, multilingual and multi-media marketer and creative strategist. As a leader and team collaborator, her solution-oriented skills attribute to fundraising, business development, and partnership strategy. Her experience spreads from leading ESPN events (ESPYS/X-games) to social impact via HelpUSA, Harlem Routes, United Nations (UNDP) and, of course, PjT.

Miles macleod

Board Member

Miles is well-versed in finance and technology. He has spent the last 6 years in both private equity and in entrepreneurial tech endeavors, including legal social impact and his own health tech startup. Miles’ goal is to use his passion and expertise to bridge the infrastructure gap in emerging markets.

GIULIA SAMBUGARO

Board Member

Giulia is a New York attorney with over 11 years of international operational experience, specializing in domestic and international business transactions, hospitality law, including food and wine law, and corporate law, with a broad experience in Italian trade law as well. She also assists various Italian companies with subsidiaries in the United States in their corporate management and commercial contractual operations.

RU YAP

Creative & Digital Director

Ru is a graphic designer with a passion for equity issues and the circular economy. In her past experience, she has worked with corporations, non-profit organizations, and a government agency by using her design skills to build stories around sustainable action. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a double major in Architecture and Visual Arts, and has a Master of Science degree in Sustainability Management.
